Description Preparing asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information. Documenting financial transactions by entering account information. Summarising current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. Substantiating financial transactions by auditing documents. Maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. Guiding accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions. Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information. Securing financial information by completing database backups. Profile A successful Management Accountant should have: Experience within the hospitality industry preferred but not essential. Preferably part-qualified or qualified by experience. Proficiency in financial reporting and general ledger structure. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills.
