Role Overview
The role is part of the PPP support to the Digital Asset Management (DAM) programme within Sellafield. The PPP support to DAM is an integrated project team with members from PPP and Sellafield’s asset management capability.
The DAM programme is a site wide delivery improvement programme supporting Sellafield’s improvement requirements, the programme aims to address a number of issues with Sellafield’s asset management arrangements with a targeted outcome of: “An integrated information line of sight from the asset through to the enterprise that integrates activities across the asset lifecycle, removes the burden of paper-based work processes from our teams and engages everyone in the use of modern digital technologies to inform decision making”
Responsibilities
Main duties include:
• Work with the wider DAM Project Team, Sellafield Asset Management Capability, and ISO to develop the maturity of Sellafield’s digital asset management capability, codebase & toolsets.
• Develop code to implement enhancements and interfaces to both in-house products and custom developed applications.
• Integrate external systems to fit client networked solution.
• Support prototypes and Demonstrations.
• Manage the implementation of solutions, including liaison with integration partners, suppliers, etc.
• Assess detailed options for technical integration with solution architects.
• Implement microservices, including system security and good interface design.
• Act in the DAM Programme’s best interests and demonstrate our core competencies of; drive, flexibility, building relationships, communication skills and self-motivation.
Specific:
The Developer produces the required solutions in line with the defined architectures of the DAM Project.
Skills / ESSENTIAL
• Experience of Object-Oriented design
• At least three years’ experience as a developer of solutions within a highly secure environment.
• Experience of:
o Development with Microsoft .net/Java and AM tools such as: Hexagon j5, PEGA, IBM Maximo & SAP
o Developing solutions within agile delivery projects.
o Sprint backlog ratification.
o Rapid prototyping and deployment.
o Design and deliver of security accredited solutions.
• Experience in:
o Developing and deploying workflow from business processes, using iBPM tools such as: Pega, Power Automate or Nintex
o REST api development (If we cannot bring in an ESB, then we will need to build it using C# on an ISS Web Server)

• Hold or be capable of obtaining government clearance (SC/SL – Nuclear)
Skills / DESIRABLE
• Experience of working in a regulated sector, preference of nuclear.
