We’re looking for an inspirational leader to spearhead the planning, management, and delivery of Norfolk County Council’s Green Space and heritage asset projects —key initiatives supporting Local Nature Recovery across Norfolk. In this dynamic role, you’ll work alongside conservation architects, woodland specialists, ecologists, community groups, NGOs, and other stakeholders to create and enhance thriving green and heritage spaces for people and wildlife alike. What You’ll Do: Lead & Deliver: Oversee key projects, including woodland creation with public access and the restoration of NCC’s heritage mills. Drive Collaboration: Build strong partnerships to implement innovative approaches for green infrastructure and improved access to nature and heritage. Manage & Inspire: Lead a dedicated team of three delivery officers, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. Ensure Compliance & Safety: Monitor risks, budgets, and project outcomes while ensuring adherence to environmental legislation, countryside health and safety, and site access regulations. Secure & Manage Funding: Identify external funding opportunities and oversee financial reporting, tender processes, and project evaluations. About You: We’re looking for a motivated project manager with a strong track record in delivering green or heritage space projects. You’ll have: Excellent leadership and project management skills A deep understanding of environmental legislation and green infrastructure principles Experience in stakeholder engagement and partnership working Financial and strategic problem-solving skills A passion for enhancing Norfolk’s natural and heritage landscapes Why Join Us?
