The post holder will audit calls taken by the CAS team within our Emergency Operations Centre to ensure high standards of quality and safety when directing patients to care pathways.
The post holder will also deliver training to members of the CAS and Agile Services Team, including onboarding with CAD, MTS, and Lowcode, as well as any additional training required to support CPD to develop staff or as a result of findings within the audit where more education is required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Quality assure clinical assessments of the CAS and Agile Services team. These will include routine audits, new clinician sign-off audits, and specific audits to assist with investigations to ensure robust, safe clinical assessments are taking place.
* Assist with the identification of trends of lower compliance or areas required for development on an individual and team level, and promote new initiatives on how to improve quality and standards.
* Train new CAS/Agile Services team members with the CAD, MTS, and Lowcode software and telephone triage.
* Deliver role-specific training identified using data from the quality assurance process, as well as mandatory training required by the trust.
* Assist with mentoring of new staff members or support when additional mentoring is required for existing staff.
* During times of high demand, assist with clinical assessing patients in the live environment.
