Junior Procurement & IT Asset Administrator, Global Law Firm, Manchester (Hybrid, 2/3 Days Work from Home)
This is a new role within a dynamic and ambitious IT function at a renowned, 3,000-user, global law firm during a period of significant technology transformation.
The IT Asset Management & Procurement Team is a crucial part - overseeing IT procurement, asset distribution, software licence management and asset control.
This role is at the junior level in a team of three and we are seeking someone highly organised & customer focused wo has had some exposure to asset & licensing management & procurement.
The role has a global element, liaising with offices in Asia Pacific, EMEA, Latin America & the Caribbean, North America and the United Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and track software license usage to ensure optimal asset utilisation
* Identify and deactivate redundant software to reduce costs, ensure compliance, and improve resource management
* Manage the Asset Control mailbox and support queue in line with internal processes
* Conduct asset database audits to verify records and maintain compliance
* Coordinate global stock management, optimising inventory across locations for efficient supply and demand planning
* Some software & hardware procurement
What We're Looking For:
* Exposure to asset and licence management
* Strong working knowledge of Excel, including advanced use of complex formulas
* Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and communication skills
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
