New Opportunity for a Registered Manager Lancaster, Permanent, Full time 37.5 hours per week. Working for an established provider of care and support to to people with complex needs arising from learning disability, mental health or ABI, we are seeking a skilled and passionate Registered Manager to manage their service near Lancaster. The Registered Manager Position: This role is ideal for someone who is seeking a new challenge and who demonstrates a passion and commitment to ensure the outcomes for the people being supported. It will enable the right person to work alongside a team of professionals and welcome support from Regional management and Directors as you settle into the role. About the role: Managing and leading a small team within a 7 bedded service for adults with ABI and associated complex needs, you will be the leader of the service and ensure that the health and wellbeing of the individuals and colleagues is at the forefront of what you do. Quality and governance will be essential, and you will be provided with the tools to enable you to deliver outstanding quality across your services, in line with the legal, statutory and regulatory obligations. It is important you are process driven and have a passion for continuous improvement. Your ability to coach and mentor colleagues on what good looks like is key as is setting the right example and leading from the front. You will have a strong oversight of the service and will ensure that the operations of the service are balanced with colleagues taking annual leave, regular team meetings and ensuring training compliance is maintained. You will have the ability to develop strong relationships with the families, external professionals and regulators and will have sound knowledge of collaborating with the team and other professionals. As the registered manager you will play a pivotal role in transitioning new people into the services from assessment through to achieving their full potential. You will be able to empower your team to deliver outstanding support through high quality electronic care plans and associated written documentation. The role requires you to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) The Ideal Candidate for the role: Experience of supporting adults with Neurological Condition, Learning Disabilities and/or complex needs. You will be outcome driven and have the 'get up and go' approach to your management style together with the ability to lead and develop your team. Experience in MAPA (CPI and PBS (Positive Behaviour Support) Your excellent communication, organisational and team playing skills will be key, as will your positive and proactive approach. A high level of personal integrity towards providing a high standard of service. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internal and external stakeholders. A good understanding of commercial and financial principles and practices Preferably you will hold the Level 5 - Leadership in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or be working towards this.The good bit: 33 days annual leave incl bank holidays Full training will be given to ensure you are enabled to deliver the right information at the right time, to support in maximising quality and compliance.
