In this role, you will be responsible for conducting Site Decarbonisation Surveys and providing essential energy performance assessments for public sector customers. Key Responsibilities: Conduct Site Decarbonisation Surveys for public sector buildings and provide detailed recommendations on energy efficiency improvements. Carry out Display Energy Certificates (DECs), Recommendation Reports (RRs), and Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) as required. Assess energy systems such as boilers, lighting, heat pumps, and solar PV, evaluating their performance and identifying opportunities for improvement. Use specialist software as well as Excel to calculate costs, savings, and carbon reduction potential. Analyse energy data and provide insightful reports for clients to help them make informed decisions. Organise and manage site visits, including liaising with stakeholders and ensuring smooth survey execution. Manage workloads effectively and report progress to the Senior Energy Surveyor. Work towards gaining relevant accreditations where required (if not already held). What we need from you: Ideally Industry/relevant technical or environmental qualifications (e.g. EPC, ESOS, CEng, IEng etc.). Experience conducting energy assessments and understanding of building energy systems. Knowledge of modern energy technologies such as heat pumps, solar PV, and building management systems. Strong analytical skills and the ability to process and interpret energy data. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing reports and advising clients. Ability to manage schedules and prioritise workload efficiently.
