Location: White City Campus (Hybrid) About the role: The MRC Centre for Environment and Health is inviting applications for its Early Career Fellowship Programme. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading international research centre for multidisciplinary research and training on environment and health sciences. We seek an ambitious, exceptional candidate with a PhD and experience in research on environment and health and strong quantitative skills. This fellowship aims to support the development of competitive, independent researchers, providing a platform to fulfil their long-term career goals. What you would be doing: You are required to produce a research proposal describing your plans to carry out an ambitious research programme in one of the Centre’s core research areas. Proposals must be relevant to the Centre’s research scope and their focus should fall within at least one of the following key areas: Environmental Epidemiology and Exposure Sciences Molecular Epidemiology Spatial Epidemiology, including small-area and GIS Biostatistics, Computational Biology and Data Science Climate Change and Health Multidisciplinary cross-Centre proposals are encouraged. You will be responsible for the development of your independent research programme, establishing collaborations with other internal and external partners where relevant, under the supervision of your chosen mentor. You will be expected to present your work at significant conferences, publish in high-quality international peer-reviewed journals and contribute to the preparation of research grants and Fellowship proposals.
