About the Role:
The Franchise Support & Growth Manager will play a crucial role in supporting and facilitating growth throughout our UK-wide franchise network. This role will manage both a head office and a field-based team and manage the successful delivery of growth targets against company budget. In addition to managing the quality, compliance, and growth functions, you will work closely with a specific number of franchise partners, developing a comprehensive understanding of the GreenThumb system and allowing time for valuable field visits. You’ll be sufficiently experienced to influence solutions across the business which underpin success and growth.
Main Responsibilities:
* Leading, directing, coaching, and motivating a team consisting of approximately 8 direct/indirect reports.
* Deliver the goals and milestones required to achieve/exceed network-wide budget.
* Ensure monthly performance management reports are delivered accurately and on time.
* Take a leading role in ensuring that our technology platforms deliver reports which are relevant, accurate, and allow us to streamline the franchise performance management framework, league tables, and board pack reporting.
* Work closely with the legal & performance reporting manager and head of franchise sales, ensuring we follow processes and transactions are completed smoothly.
* Collaborate with our L & D team to ensure that training in key business drivers is delivered to franchise partners, both in terms of refresher training and the training of new franchise partners to maximize growth opportunities.
* Present relevant topics and invite key stakeholders to events which stimulate communication, best practice, and accelerate growth including virtual town halls, regional hub meetings, conferences, and where required, one-to-one support.
* Ensure the franchise network is compliant in delivering the one GreenThumb system as outlined in the Franchise Agreement and Operating Manual.
* Oversee the production of monthly compliance management leagues and performance reports and take decisive action to remedy areas of non-compliance and see this through to resolution in a timely manner.
* Plan, develop, and deliver monthly team meetings ensuring everyone is working on the right priorities impacting our overall successful performance and facilitating the achievement of goals and targets.
* Develop peer groups who can share best practices driving success in maximizing the GreenThumb model and develop other initiatives, policies, and best practices to improve all areas of your department and the results of your role.
Candidate Profile:
We’re looking for someone to join the team who has a successful background in franchising, understands how to drive a positive team culture, and build a world-class franchise system. Great communication skills, strong financial acumen, and working knowledge of franchise performance reporting and technical systems will be key to success in this role. In addition to transferable soft skills and relevant experience gained in a similar multi-site home service business, we will be looking for you to demonstrate the following:
* A passion for franchising and the impact you can make on the performance of franchisor and franchise partners in terms of growth and compliance.
* Well versed in the evolution of technology within franchising including but not limited to using platforms and systems such as Microsoft 365, Teams, Excel, Canva, Salesforce, Jira, Franchise CRM system.
* Goal-oriented and able to manage, inspire, develop, and motivate your team to foster strong productive working relationships and deliver the vision and goals of GreenThumb.
* Willingness to travel to visit our franchise partners and conduct other field-based visits nationally.
