Job Opportunity: Finance Manager
My Wolverhampton based Distribution and Suppliers have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
* Report to the Managing Director and manage an accounts team of 4.
* Prepare audited and management accounts, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
* Handle VAT returns.
* Manage weekly and monthly payrolls, including pensions (using Sage).
* Manage and reconcile nominal, sales, and purchase ledgers.
* Conduct monthly BACS runs.
* Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and colleagues to ensure smooth departmental operations.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous experience as a Finance Manager.
* Proficiency in all accounting procedures up to audited and management accounts.
* Accounting qualification such as AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or QBE is preferred.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong leadership skills.
* Ability to meet strict accounting deadlines.
