Maths Teacher Location: Market Harborough Start Date: January 2025 Contract Type: Long Term Salary Scale: £162.31-£251.72 per day (Depending on experience) GSL Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join one of our client schools in Market Harborough, starting in January 2025. The ideal candidate will be committed to inspiring students and helping them develop essential skills in problem-solving and critical thinking. You will be working closely with the school's leadership team to maintain high educational standards and contribute to the continuous development of the curriculum. As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students across key stages, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and supporting their academic progression in mathematics. Responsibilities of a Maths Teacher : Teach mathematics to students across key stages 3 and 4. Develop lesson plans and resources that cater to the needs of all students. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a safe and respectful environment. Conduct assessments and provide feedback to students, parents, and the school leadership. Participate in the development of departmental activities and initiatives. Required Qualifications for a Maths Teacher : Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for Mathematics. Experience teaching Maths at secondary level. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
