EAC are representing a Market Leading Organisation based in Bedford, who are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team. You will play a crucial part in ensuring invoices, payments, and reconciliations are processed correctly. The ideal Candidate will come from a Finance background within the stock industry and deal with European invoices as well as the UK. On Offer: Salary £30,000 - £35,000 4 days in the office & 1 day WFH 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays Monday - Fridays hours All IT equipment provided Key Duties: Support the completion of month-end tasks for the group’s accounting needs. Process invoices for multi-country imports, with a solid understanding of tax regulations. Handle overhead invoices, ensuring they are properly coded to budgets and a clear understanding of prepayments and accruals. Provide support to management accountants in closing activities at month-end. Manage BACS and international payment runs, ensuring priority payments are identified for approval. Address supplier inquiries in a timely and professional manner, working with both internal and external parties, and process return orders when needed. Reconcile multi-currency bank accounts and credit cards. Record and post intercompany purchase invoices and journal entries. Support the month-end closing for group management reporting. Offer assistance across various other finance-related tasks as necessary.
