Join out Team as a Nights Service Centre Support Operative We are currently recruiting for a Service Centre Support Operative to join our Service Centre Department based in our Head Office, just outside Abergavenny. This role will be permanent and full time. You will work a 12-hour night shift working 4 days on with 4 off between the hours of 19:00 – 07:00. Within your team you will monitor our ATM estate throughout the night to proactively respond to alarm activations, fraudulent activities, technical issues and any scheduled maintenance that may be required. You will also take inbound customer calls and perform analysis on the availability of the ATM estate using our bespoke in-house software. Other key duties include: Basic ATM router configuration. Support of our telecommunications networks through reactive and proactive troubleshooting. Sending updates remotely across the estate for patches, screen changes, etc. 1st line support for the ATM network. Daily spreadsheet work. Actioning calls/ requests from internal and external customers supporting the resolution of technical issues. Engaging in projects that improve service delivery and minimise downtime. Ensure the effective operation of the Night desk Operations. Preparing daily handovers to daytime staff and other colleagues. Other activities as directed by line management. Active monitoring of in-house alarm systems. Controlling the NoteMachine Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) out of hours - handling all tasks in a timely manner whilst liaising with relevant security/ police authorities. Participating in a broad range of customer service functions. The Right Candidate: The successful applicant will need to have a confident personality and like solving problems, with the ability to keep calm in difficult situations e.g., when handling alarm activations. They should be comfortable communicating at all levels within the company, have strong interpersonal skills, be very self-motivated and have a logical approach to problem solving with the ability to get things done. Good IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel would also be an advantage. Full on the job training will be given to the successful applicant.
