Salary: Grade 5 scales point 11 – 17 £25,972 - £28,700 (Actual salary £9,048 - £9,996) Job Advert: Lead Cook Purpose: Oversee and manage the catering service for the school, ensuring healthy, nutritious meals are provided daily while developing staff and adhering to health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily catering operations and staff supervision. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (COSHH, HACCP). Maintain stock levels and manage food ordering within budget. Assist in developing and executing the catering strategy and menu planning. Prepare and cook a variety of balanced dishes. Supervise food service areas and commercial catering events. School Support: Uphold confidentiality and contribute to child protection and school life.
