Lord Hardy Court provides care to 60 older people, with a range of individual needs, and Mental Health problems including Dementia and provides joint working with NHS to provide Step-up Step-down services to the community. Applicants ideally need experience in a social care setting. And have Level 1 or Direct Care NVQ or equivalent though training is available in- house and through the council’s own programmes. Care staff are expected to contribute to the provision of a comfortable, stimulating homely environment, that meets Essential Standards of health and Safety and Dignity in Care Principles Care Staff are also expected to contribute and develop a customer focused service that is responsive and flexible with regard to all customer needs.
