Voyage Learning Campus is seeking to appoint an inspiring and highly motivated Vice Principal. The successful candidate will work closely in partnership alongside the Principal, leadership team and Management Committee in leading the strategic direction and development of our school.
Voyage Learning Campus is based in Weston-super-Mare. We are the Primary and Secondary Pupil Referral Unit and Medical Provision for young people in North Somerset. The successful applicant will predominantly work in our Oldmixon site but will need to work across the two. We are passionate champions of vulnerable young people in North Somerset who need additional support to help them transition to the next phase of their learning.
The successful candidate:
• Will have proven leadership skills in school improvement and curriculum innovation
• Can model, coach and support colleagues to ensure that high aspirations, unconditional positive regard and exceptional relational approaches are always promoted.
• Have excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate, inspire and support colleagues.
• Be committed to working in partnership with our parents, external agencies and our local mainstream schools.
