We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to provide one-to-one support, assist with small groups, and offer classroom support across a variety of secondary schools in Nuneaton. This role offers flexibility with an adhoc schedule, perfect for those looking to work on a more flexible basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one support for students with additional learning needs.
Assist in the delivery of small group work and classroom activities.
Support the teacher in managing classroom behavior and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Help with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers as required.
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant in a secondary school setting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A passion for helping students reach their full potential.
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
