What's involved with this role: Temporary HR Analyst (Human Resources) Reference no: NW Leicestershire 5255899 Pay Rate: up to £17.96 per hour PAYE depending on experience 37 Monday - Friday, 08:45 - 17:00 This opening assignment is for 2-3 months City: COALVILLE Someone ideally with i-trent experience to lead on all payroll activity for employees and for those of a neighbouring authority. You will manage the payroll input and checking on a monthly basis as well as providing regular reporting and management information using Business Objects to our management team. You will also provide interim line management cover to the busy HR Admin team, ensuring that customers, both internal and external, receive a high level of customer service The role is responsible for the completion of monthly payroll and monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, including statutory returns. Key Responsibilities: Working collaboratively with the finance team to deliver an effective payroll service to internal employees and members and an external local Authority. Leading on the provision of regular workforce data using Business Objects to managers, employees and the HR team. Working with external agencies such as HMRC, the Leicestershire Pension scheme and others to ensure all statutory returns are submitted on time. Using workforce and recruitment data to produce reports to managers and others. These may include sickness absence monitoring, measuring the effectiveness of recruitment campaigns, workforce analysis and planning, and responding to freedom of information requests. Full system administration responsibility for the HR/Payroll system. Qualifications: Relevant degree/ qualification Knowledge: Business Objects knowledge ITrent HR and Payroll system knowledge Understanding of i-trent system administration and the i-trent recruitment Experience: Previous HR Analyst experience Skills & Abilities: Ability to work with large data sets Ability to focus on processing different payroll elements.
