Principal Accountabilities Conduct regular customer visits to maintain relationships and identify new areas for development Provide technical sales advice, upselling when on site To have overall job ownership, from receipt of enquiry, creating MMR, costing and pricing of jobs, ensuring PO is in place, liaising with workforce management regarding job planning and progress, manage ongoing job costs. Engage and communicate with support functions including Engineering and Service Line departments Ensure every job is completed to a high standard, obtaining regular feedback from customers to identify areas for improvement Support operational requirements, working ‘on the tools if necessary’ Communicate effectively with all levels of the business to ensure successful completion of jobs Work closely with all UK Supervisors Area responsibility to ensure revenue is generated and fed into Operations Manager’s Weekly Forecasting Line management of first line Valve Technicians, including approving of working hours, demonstrating task instructions, measuring performance. Champion and drive technician adherence to safety compliance paperwork and documentation Commitment to ‘safety at all times’ Skills And Knowledge Required Technical knowledge and expertise within the Valve Industry (essential) Full UK Driving License – this role does involve travelling to customer sites Awareness of and willingness to work towards Health and Safety and Q.A Standards Supervisory and leadership experience Excellent communication skills Computer literacy Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and meet deadlines Commercial awareness Troubleshooting and ability to solve technical problems.
