Are you a Maintenance Planner looking for your next challenge within a food manufacturing setting?
In this role you will be responsible for planning the maintenance of company assets on site in Leicester. You will plan and schedule all planned maintenance using the CMMS system to ensure critical tasks are completed in a given timescale. Develop and maintain a 52-week maintenance schedule and ensure any outstanding work is completed along with running regular reports and reporting to internal teams and stakeholders.
This role is a critical part of the engineering team and you will need to be organised to ensure all maintenance tasks are planned and prioritised in a busy food manufacturing environment. Working alongside the maintenance team and reporting to the engineering manager, you will need to have previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing plant.
The role as a Maintenance Planner:
1. Execute planning & scheduling strategy in alignment with PEMM.
2. Generate weekly maintenance schedules with an outlook of up to six weeks.
3. Facilitate planning/scheduling meetings with key stakeholders.
4. Perform regular data analysis of work order management and asset performance.
5. Custodian of data quality and data cleansing of the CMMS.
6. Develop and maintain a 52-week maintenance plan.
7. Provide software training to end users (technicians) and new CMMS Administrators; serve as liaison for problem solving and escalation.
8. Upload planned maintenance task lists, generating schedules to standardised time and frequency in alignment with the 52-week plan.
9. Prioritise work requests from internal customers, defining critical requests to support food safety and health & safety.
10. Coordinate with external contractors on agreed service intervals, time, and duration.
11. Ensure alignment of CMMS planned tasks with statutory and mandatory requirements.
