Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Class 2 Driver to join our refuse collection team in Scunthorpe. In this role, you will be driving a bin lorry, and you will also be expected to assist with loading bins when required. This is a physically demanding role that requires both driving and manual work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate a Class 2 refuse lorry.
* Assist with the collection of refuse by loading bins into the vehicle.
* Follow designated routes and schedules.
* Work as part of a team to ensure timely and efficient waste collection.
Requirements:
* Valid Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence.
* Previous experience in refuse collection is a plus but not essential.
* Willingness to assist with loading when required.
* Ability to work in all weather conditions.
