Join the Submarine Delivery Agency (SDA) as a Through Life Support Training Requirements Officer and play a crucial role in designing and procuring vital capabilities for the Royal Navy. As part of our Training Group within the Trident Systems Project Team, you’ll be assisting in delivering essential tools, parts, and in-service support. You will assist with the training design and development, where you’ll craft and deliver comprehensive training programs using a systems approach to training, identifying gaps and providing detailed Training Needs Analysis reports. You’ll work alongside a diverse team of civilian Training Designers, a Royal Navy Subject Matter Expert, and collaborate with government employees, contractors, and military personnel from both the UK and the US. You will coordinate various stakeholders to align with the Authority’s strategic goals and ensure efficient delivery of training requirements. This position is 100% site-based, but you’ll also enjoy opportunities for regular and varied travel across the UK and internationally, visiting Naval Bases, military and training establishments, and industrial suppliers. Your journey starts here. What you’ll be doing Designing and creating innovative training solutions, incorporating new methods, media, and technologies to meet evolving role requirements. Operating and leveraging Learning Management Systems (LMS) expertise to serve as a management advisor, analysing Trident Systems and producing comprehensive reports. Reviewing and integrating suitable media into US-supplied courseware, manage documentation quality, and ensure compliance with Defence training guidelines. Overseeing the training pipeline, endorsing Training Authority Documents, conducting Training Design Reviews, and aligning with the System Training and Professionalisation Evaluation Strategy. Assisting in tracking the Trident System Training Documentation for endorsement. Advocating for support innovations that enhance the quality and efficiency of System Training, ensuring continuous improvement, assurance, and governance. Taking a Defence Systems Approach to Training, aligning with MOD guidelines. Person specification To be successful with your application, you'll need to show that you meet the following essential criteria : A background of working in training analysis / design.
