Job Title: Groundworks Site Manager\nLocation: Luton\nStart Date: Approximately 5 weeks from now\nDuration: 12 Weeks\nCompany Type: Demolition Contractor\n\nJob Description:\n\nWe are currently seeking an experienced Groundworks Site Manager to oversee and coordinate groundworks operations on a live demolition project in Luton. This is a temporary contract role with an expected duration of 8 weeks, starting in approximately 5 weeks' time.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nManage all on-site ground works operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.\n\nCoordinate site teams and subcontractors to maintain productivity and schedule.\n\nLiaise with the demolition management team to ensure smooth transitions between phases of work.\n\nEnsure all site activities comply with H&S regulations and company standards.\n\nConduct regular site briefings and toolbox talks.\n\nMonitor and manage materials, plant, and equipment on site.\n\nMaintain accurate site records, including daily diaries and progress reports.\n\nAddress and resolve any issues that may affect time lines or safety.\n\nRequirements:\n\nProven experience in ground works and site management within the construction or demolition sector.\n\nStrong understanding of health & safety regulations and procedures.\n\nSMSTS certification (essential).\n\nFirst Aid at Work (essential).\n\nCSCS Card (Black or Gold preferred).\n\nExcellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.\n\nRate: Competitive, based on experience\n\nTo Apply:\nPlease submit your CV!\n\nBarker Ross Group values diversity and promotes equality.
