Job Description
Join the thriving and dynamic United Living Infrastructure Services team in Washington! As a rapidly growing business, we are excited to welcome a new Site Supervisor to contribute to our success. If you're looking for a long-term career opportunity with a Main Contractor, where you can develop your skills and be part of an industry-leading organisation, this role is for you.
To be responsible for the day-to-day Supervision of United Living Water Limited Repair and Maintenance Contracts on Water. The individual will have responsibility for site management, ensuring the clients requirements are met whilst working in line with the company health & safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
Management of construction activities:
5. Safety. Ensuring site standards maintained, assisting risk assessment, accident investigation, site instructions and inspections.
6. Production. Working to programme.
7. Quality. Ensuring standards of workmanship maintained. Ensure completion of quality records, continuity of process-capability
8. Problem solving / trouble shooting
Liaison with Health & Safety Manager
9. Working together to improve standards through joint site inspections and reviews of site monitoring results
10. Dealing with improvement notices
Liaison with Water Operatives
11. · Working together to ensure safety, quality and environmental standard are achieved
12. Dealing with actions from technical audits
13. Development / maintenance of competency levels
Liaison with Client Representatives
14. Progress meetings
15. Day to day
Liaison with local authorities & other bodies in connection with site activities
Management of Site Personnel:
16. Recruitment
17. Disciplinary
18. Manpower planning
19. Communication
20. Man-management
Control of plant, equipment and materials
Administration ·
21. Documentation. Quality records, as laid information, timesheets, work records etc
22. Any other duties reasonably assigned.
Qualifications
23. NRSWA (Supervisors)
24. Water safety passports
25. Supervisory Management training
26. IOSH / SMSTS
27. Extensive experience of working on water
28. Full UK driving license
