Quality Inspector duties include -
* Use hand held measurement tools and CMM to inspect precision components.
* Liaise with the Quality and Design teams when rejected parts are found.
* Document and report non-conforming materials as required.
* Ensure that any discrepancies are isolated, and the necessary actions are implemented.
* Assist with other Goods Inwards area as and when required.
* Ensure that all measuring equipment is correctly calibrated.
Quality Inspector desirable skills and experience -
* Experience in a similar position (CMM Operator, CMM Programmer etc).
* Computer literate / able to read technical drawings.
* Relevant manufacturing/mechanical engineering education (HND/HNC).
