We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals with an NMC Registered Nursing Associate or Registered Nurse status, along with experience in supporting students in clinical placements. Main duties of the job
1. Track learner progress, provide interventions, and offer crucial support to apprentices.
2. Work directly with Trust clinical educators to support students in the clinical environment.
3. Review apprentice evidence and reflections, helping them identify gaps and find workplace opportunities.
4. Support the Health and Care Academy in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and policies.
5. Maintain your clinical registration by regularly working within your scope of practice across the Trust.
6. Role model compassionate and inclusive leadership.

Job responsibilities
Effectively undertake a lead role in supporting apprenticeship programmes delivered at the Northumbria Health and Care Academy.
To enhance the reputation of the Northumbria Health and Care Academy and University of Sunderland as a centre of excellence, by engaging with apprenticeship monitoring, progress reviews and fostering strong partnerships with learners and staff.
Providing guidance on both academic and practical aspects of the apprenticeship, you will collaborate with managers, students and academic staff to ensure apprentices are meeting their goals.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Recognised supervision teaching and assessing of students qualification, such as Practice Assessor.
* NMC Registered Nursing Associate Qualification/ Registered Nurse.
* Foundation of Science (level 5) or BSc degree.
* Professional Nursing Advocate.
* Relevant Teaching Qualification such as PGCert.
Experience
* Experience of supporting students in clinical placements.
