Location: Farnham Fire Station
Salary: Firefighter grade + 10% (reflecting the specialist nature of the role) plus Surrey Allowance (in line with SCC terms and conditions).
About the Role
We are excited to be recruiting a Business Education Officer to join our Community Resilience team. This frontline role involves engaging with businesses, volunteers, professional groups, and local organisations to ensure the delivery of essential fire safety services across the south-west area of Surrey.
You will be based at Farnham Fire Station and will be responsible for planning and organising your own workload, prioritising tasks, and using your initiative to solve problems independently. A pool car will be available for work-related travel, so a full driving licence is required.
About the Team
The Business Safety Team manages Safe & Well Visits, protection policies, and the Risk-Based Inspection Programme, playing a key role in improving safety across our community.
