As a Screening Operations Lead, you will work within the Screening Transformation & Innovation team alongside Screening SMEs and Change Delivery Leads as an Operational manager for 6-10 Change analysts focusing on resource management, performance management, and peer support.
To be successful as a Screening Operations Lead, you should have:
* Change delivery & leadership experience required to oversee and progress multiple projects/programmes in parallel.
* People, Planning & Performance management and development capability required leading a team of Change Business Analysts.
* Experience working within Financial Services, preferably within Financial Crime or other regulatory environment.
Purpose of the Role:
To verify the accuracy, reliability, and soundness of the bank's analytical models by independently validating and assuring the quality of models.
Accountabilities:
* Development and implementation of validation plans for new and existing models.
* Preparation of model documentation that clearly explains the model's methodology, assumptions, limitations, and risks.
* Development and implementation of ongoing monitoring frameworks to ensure continued model accuracy and effectiveness, ensuring appropriate controls and governance are in place.
* Analysis and assessment of the model's accuracy, performance, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Performing back testing and stress testing to assess model robustness under different conditions.
Assistant Vice President Expectations:
* Consult on complex issues; providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
* Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
* Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
* Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas, which requires an understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function.
* Collaborate with other areas of work for business-aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.
