Children's Safeguarding and Family Support Business Systems Support Facilitator NJC Scale SO2 £36,124 - £37,938 Full time: fixed-term contract 12 months We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Support facilitator who will be responsible for producing and delivering training packages and adhoc support to enable users of specific Children’s IT systems to deliver the standard of quality recording required. The postholder will support the use and development of computer and information systems within Children’s Services for the purposes of performance and information management and the delivery of quality services. A few of the main tasks are: To fully understand processes and ICT systems relevant to Children’s Services Attend meetings relating to system developments/implementations to gain knowledge to produce appropriate training packages. Produce training course content, guides and process maps using sound knowledge/experience of systems, processes and reporting requirements. Set up of appropriate on-line training courses for all systems. Deliver front line system training based on sound knowledge and understanding. Provide support, advice and guidance to system users, drawing on experience and knowledge gained whilst working in this area. Link between operational staff and Business Systems Support to improve the user experience. From support and training, identify and where appropriate escalate to the appropriate operational Team Leader/Group Manager any individual performance issues which require further attention. To assist with the development and delivery of relevant information and knowledge management strategies, in particular work associated with the delivery of the transformation of Children’s ICT systems. Support the implementation of policies and new legislation by updating support and training packages.
