As a Technical Claims Handler, you will proactively manage a caseload of technically complex and/or high value (multi track) claims. This will also include litigated claims, within the Haven Delegated Authority Agreement, referral process and reinsurance treaty requirements.
You will also provide technical support and guidance to less experienced claims handlers and be available to offer training and act as a referral point.
Role: Technical Personal Injury Claims Handler
Location: Liverpool or Sevenoaks with hybrid working
Working hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm
Salary: £32,000- £38,000 DOE plus £2500 annual bonus potential achieved quarterly
What you will be doing:
1. A proactive management approach to handling their own portfolio with excellent diary management whilst maintaining own KPIs and SLAs.
2. Handle claims within a defined handling authority.
3. Proactive review of claims ensuring they are reserved in line with best practice and the earliest opportunity and referring those highlighted as exceeding authority.
4. Mitigate claims leakage and spend through proactive claims management.
5. Drive and negotiate claims settlement at the earliest available opportunity.
