Develop and implement strategic business plans to boost branch performance and increase profitability. Ensure exceptional customer service by cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with customers and clients. Supervise and mentor branch staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Manage inventory levels and oversee stock control processes to prevent losses and maximise sales. Implement Health & Safety policies, ensuring compliance with regulations to provide a safe environment for staff and customers alike. Analyse financial reports to track branch performance and devise strategies for improvement. Collaborate with the central management team to align branch objectives with company goals. Lead by example, upholding the values and reputation of Lawsons through integrity and professionalism. Desired Skills and Experience Proven experience in a managerial role within a Builders of Fencing Merchant (essential). Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team. Demonstrable experience in setting and reaching key performance indicators (KPIs). Strategic mind-set with a focus on driving growth and innovation. In-depth knowledge of the industry, including current market trends and competitor analysis.
