We are working on behalf of a Middle Eastern automotive client who is undertaking an expansion into the UK and Europe. This is a truly exciting period for the organisation, as they represent an international client base, and provide the facilities for them to expand into new markets. As the Head of Finance, you will oversee financial management and general administration including procurement, IT, HR and Legal. This role involves developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support sales and supply chain strategies, as well as controlling costs related to procurement, logistics, and inventory. The Head of Finance will prepare detailed financial reports, collaborate on strategic planning to align financial and operational goals, and identify risks to mitigate financial impacts. Additionally, they will play key roles in the development of the business: first, working closely with the Head of Sales and financing partners to create bespoke commercial solutions for key fleet customers; second, ensuring that financial systems and processes are effectively established to support the company's launch and ongoing success. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Prior experience in the automotive sales, retail, or dealership sector is highly preferred. Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing finance teams. Experience in collaborating with executive leadership and cross-functional teams. Preferred to have held a Senior Management Function (SM3) within the FCA's regulatory framework, or to have had significant exposure to the FCA's Customer Duty regulations. If you have experience in a start-up or major transformation environment that is a plus. Understanding of the automotive sales industry, including vehicle financing, dealership operations, and automotive regulatory frameworks. Why should I apply?
