Salary £25k - £26,000 pro rota
Based in Huddersfield
Medlock Partners are partnering with a well respected law firm who are looking for an office and facilities co-ordinator, for full time hours, who can support the Human Resources leader with the upkeep and maintenance of the office building, general administration duties and supporting the front of house when required. The successful person will ideally have previous facilities experience and someone willing to undertake a variety of duties to support the wider teams.
Key responsibilities of the Office & Facilities Co-Ordinator
· Handling incoming and outgoing mail as well as monitoring email boxes
· Assist with general administration tasks that include archiving and retrieval of client’s deeds and wills when requested for by the client or solicitor
· Covering for front of house when required, meet and greet customers and taking phone calls.
· Assist with the maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment’s and systems to ensure they are all in working order.
· Assist with the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs to minimise the lifespan of assets.
· Ensuring all facilities comply with health, safety and environmental regulations
· Assist with the Coordination of office moves, renovations and refurbishments
· Assist with the monitoring of energy usage and implementation of energy saving measures
Key requirements for the Office & Facilities Co-Ordinator
· Previous facilities management experience, ideally with NEBOSH experience or qualifications
· Solid general administration experience
· A strong team player with the ability to manage multiple workloads
· Well organised, flexible, conscientious and with a ‘can do’ practical attitude
· Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels within the companies.
