DRAWING MANAGER
Location: Open to location - candidate can be based anywhere in the UK

The Drawing Manager will take full ownership of validating General Arrangement (GA) drawings provided by external parties following project completion, ensuring they meet the required standards before being uploaded to the client’s system.
Accuracy and consistency are key, as these drawings play a crucial role in maintaining precise records of space utilisation and allocation.
Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for keeping the drawings database and library up to date, ensuring it remains a reliable source of information for the client and internal stakeholders.
By maintaining an organised and current repository, you will help facilitate informed decision-making regarding space planning and operational efficiency.
Attention to detail and a structured approach are essential, as you will be responsible for reviewing, validating, and managing drawing updates while liaising with project teams, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
This role requires strong technical expertise, a methodical mindset, and the ability to maintain and improve processes to ensure the accuracy and accessibility of all spatial data.

Key Responsibilities
* Data and drawing management
* Validate drawing data
* Keep drawing systems up to date
* Use AutoCAD for space planning and CAD tasks
What We're Looking For:
* Proven track record of working in a drawing office environment (preferably in engineering, banking, corporate environments, or commercial offices)
* Full knowledge of AutoCAD LT is essential
* Good skills in MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint in particular)
* Good understanding of change control and managing record data
* Proven experience of creating and modifying CAD layouts, ensuring that any plans created conform to the latest guidelines, regulations, etc.
* Experience and competency with PDA and mobile telephone software and applications
* Knowledge of statutory requirements related to creating space planning requirements
