Job Title:
A National Leader in Facility Management seeks an Electrical Technician to join their prestigious client site in Stevenage, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the facility's maintenance and upkeep.

Responsibilities:
* The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks to maximize efficiency.
* They will work closely with defined safe systems of work, policies, and procedures to ensure the highest levels of safety and compliance.
* Troubleshooting electrical faults and concerns, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions are also key aspects of this role.
* The candidate will be expected to ensure compliance with electrical regulations and safety standards in all work activities.
* They will provide tactical implementation of 'make safe' isolation requirements & initial evidence gathering in electrical safety incidents.
* The successful candidate will have area ownership of all in-scope electrical areas (HV / LV Substations, switch-rooms, and apparatus).
* They will carry out necessary duties of LV and HV Authorized Person when appointed to do so.
Requirements:
* A Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in electrical discipline is required, along with BS7671 - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations knowledge.
* Demonstrable electrical experience within a building service/Facilities Management environment is essential.
* Great communication, IT, and literacy skills are crucial for success in this role.
* The ideal candidate will have demonstrable evidence of adherence to quality standards and compliance to regulations in a controlled/regulated environment (preferably Pharma).
* Authorised Person LV appointment within probationary period and hold this appointment throughout employment (AP appointment is a requirement of the role and attracts an additional related payment).
Desirable Skills:
* C&G 2391-52 Inspection & Testing qualification would be beneficial.
* Experience as a HV AP or working towards with a desire to progress to this level and beyond is highly desirable.
