Junior Office Administrator
A successful engineering company offering an extensive range of products and services globally is seeking an additional member for their administration and finance team. This full-time position involves assisting the office manager with day-to-day accounts and office duties. As part of a small business, the role will encompass a variety of tasks beyond the standard job description to support the entire operation.
The appointed Junior Office Administrator will receive comprehensive on-the-job training to facilitate the responsibilities outlined below. Additionally, they should be proactive, identifying opportunities to assist the office manager with supplementary administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
Preparing orders for shipping and coordinating deliveries
Processing purchase orders and invoicing customers
Updating and maintaining the internal product tracking system
Booking travel arrangements, including itineraries for general customer trips and exhibitions
Processing supplier invoicesRequirements
Proficiency in calculating percentages
Strong working knowledge of office applications
Ability to work effectively as part of a small team with a flexible and adaptable approach
Capacity to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks efficiently
