As the Head of Global Distribution, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with distribution partners in EMEA, while supporting cross-border relationships in the USA and APAC. This role focuses on expanding the company’s reach, driving revenue growth, and ensuring alignment between distribution strategies and overall business objectives. The position requires expertise in partner management, channel strategy, and software industry dynamics. This role is critical in driving the company’s global growth by leveraging strategic partnerships within the software ecosystem.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Work with the CRO and VP of Channel to build and execute a global distribution strategy to maximise market penetration and revenue growth.
* Optimise existing partnerships to enhance performance, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Partner Relationship Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with global distributors, resellers, and channel partners.
* Act as the primary point of contact for distribution partners in EMEA, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
* Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with distributors to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
Performance Optimisation:
* Monitor distributor performance against KPIs such as revenue targets, market share growth, and partner acquisition.
* Provide regular training, resources, and support to distribution partners to improve their effectiveness.
* Develop incentive programmes to motivate distributors and drive sales growth.
Market Insights & Growth Opportunities:
* Analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities.
* Collaborate with marketing teams to create campaigns that support distributor success in local markets.
* Drive innovation by leveraging data insights to refine distribution strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
* Work closely with partner growth, product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment between distribution strategies and company objectives.
* Provide feedback from distributors to product teams for continuous improvement of software offerings.
Leadership & Team Management:
* Lead a team responsible for managing distributor relationships across regions.
* Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability within the team.
About You
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in channel or distribution management within the software industry.
* Proven track record of driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships.
* Familiarity with SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) or cloud-based solutions distribution models.
* Experience working with international markets and multicultural teams.
* Expertise in channel strategy development for software products.
* Strong analytical skills for assessing partner performance and market opportunities.
* Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capabilities.
* Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) and partner management platforms.
* Willing to Travel: Ability to travel across the region, up to 50% of the role.
