Would you like to play a key role in an organisation wide transformation and be the programme lead across multiple work streams. This role is essential for steering priority transformation projects and programmes, ensuring they are executed effectively and align with strategic objectives. Day-to-day Responsibilities: Develop and refine the Programme and Project Management Framework to standardise project delivery across the organisation. Assess and ensure project documentation meets delivery standards and supports the strategic direction of organisational transformation. Guide project sponsors and leads in creating business cases and project plans, establishing robust monitoring systems, and adhering to the PPM Framework. Monitor project progress with managers and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with planned objectives and facilitating regular reports to the board. Collaborate with the Senior Transformation Business Partner to secure stakeholder support for effective programme and project management. Manage systems to identify and track risks, issues, and dependencies within the transformation portfolio. Aid in the development and maintenance of management structures and tools to support the delivery of transformation initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in managing programmes and projects within complex environments, ideally in the public sector. Strong analytical and project oversight skills. Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies. Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines. Project or programme management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) The salary for this role is £43,693 and the candidate will be enrolled in the public sector pension scheme.
