Are you looking to deliver music tuition in a flexible role in a successful secondary school?
New Rickstones Academy is graded 'Good' (November 2023) and has a state-of-the-art building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff. Over the last 9 years, the academy has seen a huge increase in student numbers, with the number of students on roll more than doubling. The academy is a popular choice in the local area, is oversubscribed, and has added another new building to meet this demand.
The successful candidate will have a passion for music with significant musical experience and capacity to teach drums and/or guitar to Grade 5 (theory and practical). You'll be an excellent communicator with the ability to motivate and enthuse your students.
This role is on a casual basis and days are flexible. Music lessons run from 3:30pm to 7pm. All new starters are required to attend a compulsory statutory induction training.

Information about the School
New Rickstones Academy is a co-educational 11-19 comprehensive, part of Lift Schools. We have approximately 135 staff.
