As a Principal Consultant (PC), you will be trusted to work across the whole development lifecycle for clients, offering a rare opportunity to gain broad experiences from concept to delivery. Our PCs are also able to lead the development and growth of other team members, both in a formal (line management) and informal capacity. We are looking for candidates who have some of the following skills: Well versed in a breadth of electronics disciplines that could include: Analogue and mixed-signal circuit design (PCB) for measurement systems Digital circuit design (FPGA) Embedded closed-loop control Model-based or data-driven design (MATLAB, Python) Experience architecting complex, multidisciplinary products, working within teams of electronic, mechanical and software engineers as well as applied scientists. Practical knowledge of how satisfy regulatory requirements in the development of medical and diagnostic devices. An appreciation of a wide range of engineering and manufacturing principles and the process of transferring a product to market. Confidence communicating complex engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Commercial awareness of the challenges facing our clients and experience of business development in healthcare and life sciences. Qualifications Energy and enthusiasm to take on new and unfamiliar challenges coupled with the ability to innovate and develop deep insights.
