Midlands based regional bank, small yet fast growing, who pride itself as a socially conscious bank, with a double bottom line strategy to make profit purposively, have an opportunity in their Treasury team to work with a new Treasurer and Deputy Treasurer, and alongside a third Treasury colleague to assist and learn how to manage the banks’ Capital, Liquidity and Funding requirements. Offering flexibility with the split between home/office work hours.
Role Description
* The Treasury Analyst role is designed for a person early in their career and to support all three members of the team and take ownership of various tasks including but not limited to Balance sheet stress testing and forecasting; margin and stability analysis; various treasury front office and booking procedures; internal management information presentations for senior committee meetings; and working with other corporate functions.
Role Requirements
* To be very comfortable working in a small team and be versatile on the work performed
* Ideally a qualification in Treasury (CertBALMand AMCT)
* Experience in financial services and within a treasury function or another closely aligned function
* Practical or strong theoretical understanding of balance sheet risk such as Liquidity, Funding, Banking Book risk (IRRBB)
* Demonstrable ability to work with data and model and manipulate that data (e.g. developing stress test scenarios)
* Comfortable to work with internal stakeholders across the corporate and commercial bank teams
