Job Title: IT Director (Digital Transformation)
Location: Leeds
Salary: Circa £90k - £115k + Comprehensive Benefits
Reports to: CEO
Our client is a UK based B2B service provider, with continued and sustained growth they continue to develop their IT capability, which has enabled much or their success. They are now seeking a progressive and innovative IT Leader who can lead and drive operational excellence and where applicable manage transformational projects of change. It is essential that you are a hands-on IT leader, that has a track record of working in challenging IT environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with the company’s goals and sustainability objectives.
* Build and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
* Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, ensuring scalability and security.
* Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT solutions that support green energy projects and initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, prioritizing data security and privacy.
* Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and project timelines effectively.
* Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
* Accountable for effective IT service, support and solution to the group.
* Ensure all business units have suitable and effective technology that enables business requirements.
* Oversee future system developments and investments, including strategy planning and ROI.
* Accountable for all related legal, GDPR and security requirements.
* Implement a continuous improvement culture throughout IT and facilitate a communicative relationship between IT and the user base.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
* Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing IT projects in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, systems, and technologies.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity practices and regulations.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
* Track record of cost analysis, improvements and transformations.
* Exposure to GDPR.
* Multi server environment.
