Job Overview
We seek a knowledgeable and experienced Purchasing Consultant to join our dynamic team to expand and diversify the product portfolios on International Foods and Indian groceries. The ideal candidate will possess a strong supply chain management and logistics background and people management background to deal with small and volume procurement to cater to the need of the ever-changing customer requirements. This role involves collaborating with the Business Development Manager and preferred suppliers to analyze their inputs and needs, develop tailored solutions that will help us maximize sales, and implement newer procurement strategies that enhance outreach to sales channels. The Procurement Consultant will play a crucial role in negotiating contracts and optimizing processes to help the Business Development Manager achieve the diversification targets of Neelakrishna Multi-Stores.
Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough assessments of client operations to identify areas for improvement within supply chain and logistics.
* Develop and present comprehensive reports outlining findings, recommendations, and implementation plans.
* Collaborate with clients to design customized solutions that align with their business objectives.
* Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and service providers to secure favorable terms.
* Provide ongoing support during the implementation phase, ensuring smooth transitions and effective training for client staff.
* Monitor project progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet evolving client needs.
* Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to provide informed guidance to clients.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a consulting role, preferably within supply chain or logistics sectors.
* Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving, demonstrating initiative and creativity in developing solutions.
* Relevant qualifications in business administration, logistics, or a related field are desirable.

Pay: £28,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
