Our in-vitro Diagnostic Assay manufacturing site in Dundee has an exciting opportunity for a Dispensing and Labelling Manager to join the Dundee Operations department. This is a 2nd line leadership role. What You’ll Do As the Dispensing/Labelling Manager you will be responsible for overseeing safe, on-time delivery of product which conforms to current best practices and quality standards. Provide effective leadership of the teams of Dispensing and Labelling (3 direct reports and a team of 16 heads overall) Oversight of production and labeling design control Collaborate with the Operations, Quality Control, and Product Quality Assurance peer group to plan and manage local schedules Support audits Working as part of a cross-functional team, perform Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) activities and perform document and Change Control review. Oversight of statistical process control and Engineering Key Process Variables (KPVs), Critical Process Parameters (CPPs) and Critical Quality Attributes (CQAs) to ensure lot to lot consistency and optimal equipment effectiveness Responsible for Health and Safety within the Dispensing/Labelling environments Working hours: Monday-Friday 9-5 Required Qualifications / Profile Degree level or equivalent, and/or Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred Experience in Operations leadership with excellent communication skills An understanding of and ability to apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques, including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) An appreciation for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) costs and how to influence them An understanding of Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) and Change Control principles with the ability to process records within the respective databases/systems Expertise in and ability to support/facilitate use of state-of-the-art Root Cause Analysis (RCA) tools, including A3/DMAIC Understanding of and capability to support Risk Assessments, Risk Management/Control exercises, and Failure Mode Effect Analyses (FMEA).
