Quality Engineer in Newtown, Pennsylvania
We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team in Newtown, PA!
This is an opportunity to be involved in all aspects of design, implementation, and maintaining quality assurance protocols and methods for the processing of materials into partially finished or finished products. As a Quality Engineer, you will be designing methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment, and finished products. Don’t miss this opportunity to have a role in developing high-quality ruggedized embedded systems and a wide variety of analog sensor and digital bus interface designs that meet stringent commercial and military product requirements.
LOCATION: Newtown, PA
YOUR CHALLENGE:
1. Develop, apply, and revise quality standards for receiving, in-process, and final inspection.
2. Analyze existing designs to support ongoing hardware developments.
3. Review and evaluate in-process rejections, obtain disposition, and implement corrective action.
4. Collaborate with Test engineering to develop support hardware and software for the internal testing of various products for design verification and qualification.
5. Collect, document, and analyze data sets to facilitate the successful bring-up of new hardware within the engineering department.
WHAT YOU BRING:
1. BS in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering (from an accredited college or university) required.
2. Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design concepts.
3. Knowledge of basic power supply design.
4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
5. Ability to work independently to conduct engineering research to bring to the department as a whole.
6. Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be a sole US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.
