As a Solution Designer, you will be working with our Communication and Automation Teams as a key player in the implementation, upgrading and enhancements of various solutions across the domain.
We have an exciting and extensive portfolio of change to manage over the coming years, including but not limited to, implementation of strategic communication tooling, improving customer access to communications, automation of internal processes, event based processing, real time decisioning and personalisation.
You will use your technical expertise to lead on the creation of technical artefacts, enabling high quality (technical/business) solutions to be delivered at pace, along with your hands-on experience of communication delivery, document storage, workflow and automation solutions.
You will be working with Engineering Leads and architects to shape and design solutions to realise the strategic outcomes through IT change and innovation.

What you’ll be doing
As a Solution Designer you will use your expertise and experience to refine and interpret business requirements with architecture designs into technical design specifications that will inform developers and infrastructure engineers enabling them to deliver resilient, secure and performant solutions.
You will work with Business Analysts, Architects, Engineers and other stakeholders to define both high-level and detailed documentation, ensuring compliance with our organisational guardrails to deliver the right solutions in the right way.

About you
* Demonstrable track record of solution analysis and design across a variety of projects.
* Experience in applying reference architectures, patterns and standards.
* Proven delivery of high-quality project deliverables including High-Level Designs, Detailed Designs, Interface Specifications and Impact Assessments.
* Comprehensive integration design experience (e.g. batch, API).
* Worked with Agile and/or ‘waterfall’ based methodologies.
* Worked in a highly regulated environment and ensuring solutions are compliant.
* Some development experience as a practical foundation for design.
* Participating in proof of concepts to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy.
* Knowledge of Networking and Infrastructure security concepts.
