The Role of
LGV Driver
We are looking to recruit experienced and professional Class 2/Class 1 LGV drivers at either our Portsmouth, Fareham, or Southampton sites, who are skilled and competent at driving any of the following vehicles:
1. Skip, Rollonoff, Grab, Tipper
2. Volumetric Concrete Trucks, Concrete Pumps
3. Vacuum Road Brush
4. Caged Van and Toilet Vehicle.
The role of LGV Driver involves:
5. collecting/delivering skips/containers/waste/aggregate/soils from/to customers and sites
6. ensuring that the best customer service is provided at all times
7. delivering waste to the designated waste transfer stations, recycling centres, or landfill sites as directed by the Traffic Office.
The role of a Volumetric Concrete Truck LGV Driver involves:
8. mixing and dispensing concrete from a volumetric concrete vehicle at customers sites
9. ensuring that the best customer service is provided at all times
10. maintaining and cleaning the volumetric concrete vehicle on a daily basis.

15. Good geographical knowledge of our operating areas
16. Great communication and customer service skills
17. Ability to use a PDA
18. Good knowledge and understanding of driver’s hours and WTD
19. Must have full Driver CPC, digital tachograph driver card, and preferably a clean license
Reward
20. £13.61 hourly rate, with time and a half paid for Saturday working
