Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a maintenance contractor who are looking for a Disrepair Project Manager to join their team.
They are looking for an experienced Disrepair Project Manager who is proficient in Disrepair and Repairs works and has experience working within a social housing environment managing various disrepair cases and contracts.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide a comprehensive specialised technical service to ensure that potential disrepair, statutory nuisance, structural repairs, and insurance claims against homes are dealt with professionally and expeditiously.
2. Carry out detailed pre/post inspections, identifying defects and areas of improvement.
3. Maintain proper records of visits and inspection findings, making recommendations to senior managers on any areas needing further actions.
4. Manage various Disrepair contracts and cases, conducting toolbox talks and performance reviews.
5. Prepare estimates, feasibility studies, plans, sketches, drawings, and photographs as required.
Qualifications:
1. Proven record as a Voids & Disrepair Surveyor who has managed a team of operatives.
2. Firm understanding of Schedule of Rates for Building Works.
3. Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
4. Proactive approach to work.
5. Proven track record for being reliable and punctual.
6. Must hold a driving licence.
Key Knowledge:
1. Social housing/construction industry knowledge.
2. IT and Excel literate.
3. HNC or equivalent surveying qualification required.
4. SMSTS.
