Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a primary school student with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in Caldicot. You will help the student engage in classroom activities, promote social and emotional development, and work closely with the teacher to support their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support to a student with ALN.
Assist with classroom tasks and help the student stay engaged in lessons.
Encourage social, emotional, and behavioural development.
Collaborate with the teacher to implement the student's Individual Learning Plan (ILP).
Promote inclusion and ensure the student’s well-being.
Help with physical or personal care needs as required.
Provide feedback to the teacher on the student’s progress.
Person Specification:
Experience working with children with ALN is desirable.
Patient, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to safeguarding children.
