Responsibilities
as our English Lecturer will include:
1. Contributing to high quality learning experiences using a variety of teaching and learning methods.
2. Ensuring that teaching is based on current best available practice and is consistent with a high standard of practice.
3. Providing academic support to students in accordance with agreed procedures.
4. Creating an outstanding student experience which leads to the successful completion of a GCSE and Functional Skills qualification. Preparation of lesson plans and assignment schedules
5. Preparation of learning materials and student assignments
6. Marking of students work and of internal examinations and assessments, invigilation work
7. Managing student issues within agreed protocols.
8. Undertaking such other reasonable duties as the line manager may require from time to time

As our English Lecturer, youll ideally have:
9. Relevant Level 3 English qualification
10. Teaching Qualification or willingness to achieve within 2 years
11. Experience of facilitating GCSE English learning for students in a Further Education or an appropriate educational setting.
12. Knowledge of the content of GCSE English Language
13. Communication skills including written and verbal
